U.S. Coast Guard Sector Maryland – National Capital Region Command Center Tour

In advance of the May 20 monthly meeting featuring Coast Guard representatives discussing Emergency Services on the Water, we’ll be able to tour the Sector’s Command Center in Baltimore, where all Coast Guard response operations in Maryland waters (including the Potomac River) are coordinated.  This can include answering search & rescue calls, responding to pollution incidents, conducting law enforcement operations, and promoting boating safety.  This is a unique opportunity to see first-hand what happens “on the other end of the radio” when you need to call for assistance, and can help you better prepare to ensure the safety of your vessel, crew and passengers.
